The NFT mania isn’t slowing down with Manchester United F.C., arguably the largest football club in the world, confirming its partnership with Tezos blockchain as their official training and technology partner.
With this collaboration, the club aims to introduce its fanbase to the decentralized web amid growing focus from several renowned brands and firms. The soccer club also emphasized a friendlier environment of the Tezos blockchain than some of the blockchain networks.
This partnership further strengthens the fact that there is a growing market for digital collectibles, largely driven by sports club building NFTs in the form of actual t-shirts, virtual cards, digital clips, and much more. It’s only a matter of time before all leading sporting events adopt the security benefits that NFT’s can bring towards tickets for entry.
